DIAMOND STOCK
It is a stock which store only diamond and gemstone including examination its quality by their own without the quality examination process of the QA & QC department. Due to these have high of value and some diamond and gemstone are very tiny, so ,the quality examination process must separate from the other examination of QA & QC department and there is a high of security system which is different from the other materials to prevent loss.
In addition, the process of the quality examination must has an specialists that have high level of diamond and gemstone experience for quick examination and find its defect more precisely.
QUALITY INSPECTION PROCESS

After the diamond stock team received the materials from the shipper already, the diamond and gemstone inspection team will begin the quality inspection process in the diamond and gemstone room which has a high security system by the inspection process will spend for 3 days. The inspection team will use the criteria for quality inspection of diamonds and gems as followed:

After the inspection process, the staff in the Diamond and Gems stock will record a quantity of materials receiving in a stock control system of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012.

The materials will be distributed to sub production of the Post-production department which are specified into the working process in job card and sub job card.

If there is no any problem for the diamond and gems, the staff will record the remaining raw materials in the stock in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 to update the quantity for the next production.

Diamond quality certification standards
Some diamonds that the department has received will have a Diamond Certificate or Diamond Report from Gemological Institute of America : GIA which is a research and study institute in gemology in America which has been the most reliable and popular in the diamond industry. It is an institution that determines the quality of diamonds called 4Cs (Color, Clarity, Cut and Carat Weight), used to certify that the diamond is of high quality, along with identifying various defects on diamonds for customers and entrepreneurs. Which certified diamonds are worth more than diamonds without Diamond Certificate and the Diamond stock department must check the quality by themselves using the audit criteria according to SGS.

Diamond quality inspection criteria
Diamond quality inspection process for diamond that does not have a Diamond Certificate or Diamond Report. The Diamond stock department will use the examination criteria according to The School of Gemological Sciences: SGS with international and diamond inspection standards that are internationally recognized and trusted by jewelry operators in Thailand.
